Singapore – Video of a GrabFood rider being reprimanded by a man for recklessly riding a trail and nearly hitting him is circulating online.
“Uncle is upset by the GrabFood PAB (electrically assisted bicycle) cyclist riding recklessly on the trail,” read the caption of a video uploaded by SG Road Vigilante on YouTube Monday April 26th.
The incident allegedly took place at Marine Parade Central.
The video begins with the camera pointed at a GrabFood cyclist approaching an electric bicycle.

As the cyclist passes, the man holding the camera who cannot be seen in the video says, “At the moment you almost hit me, ah.”
The rider immediately apologizes as he continues on his way.
âYou almost hit me, you know, earlier. So I’ll make a report, I’ll give it to the police station, âthe man said.
The rider continues to apologize and has palms folded at one point to prove his sincerity.
Meanwhile, the uncle tells the horseman that he will go to the police station.
âPlease, uncle. I earn my living, âsaid the runner apologetically.
The uncle explains that the rider also crossed the crossroads recklessly and told him to follow along as they drove to the police station.
As the date apologizes, the uncle can be heard saying, âI don’t care, I don’t care. You drive so fast. So dangerous. “
The cyclist pushes his electric bicycle trying to catch up with the uncle. He apologizes again, admitting his fault.
âI know your people. Very, very rude, ah, âsaid the uncle.
The uncle also explains that runners aren’t supposed to use the trail, even more so at such speeds.
When they come to a stop, the rider asks the uncle to give him another chance and promises not to make the same mistake again.
After another warning, the uncle seems to let go and begins to walk away.
According to Active Mobility Act (AMA), PABs and motorized personal mobility devices (PMDs) are not permitted on the trails. On the other hand, bicycles, personal mobility aids (PMA) and non-motorized PMDs, such as manual scooters, can be used on the trails.
