Qhubeka NextHash team delighted to return to Tour of Britain

The Qhubeka NextHash team (www.TeamQhubeka.com) has announced an exciting lineup for the upcoming AJ Bell Tour of Britain which will see the inclusion of European champion Giacomo Nizzolo and Nicholas Dlamini, former King of the Mountains ranking winner.
The Tour of Britain is an event in which our team have enjoyed participating in previous editions with notable success and we are delighted with this year’s race which will start on Sunday in Penzance.
Besides Dlamini and Nizzolo, Australian Simon Clarke will seek to spearhead our global aspirations, as well as Giro d’Italia stage winner Mauro Schmid.
They will be supported by the multi-talented Carlos Barbero who will look to make an impact in the quick finishes as he has done in the past, as well as the United States‘s Sean Bennett who completed his very first Tour de France earlier this year.
Our full range:

“I am really looking forward to it! It’s a kind of road racing similar to the one we grew up in Australia, so it’s as close to coming home to run as we can get. It’s a race I’ve done a bunch of times since I was under 23, looking to go pro and a bunch of times since I was pro. So it’s always nice to go back, being an English speaking country for about a week, not being back to Australia for two years now, so it should be fine. It looks like a pretty hilly and tough Tour of Britain this year which is interesting for me and I can’t wait to tackle it.“
Giacomo Nizzolo – Horseman
“This race will be a crucial part of my preparation for the World Championships later this month. Of course, if an opportunity presents itself, I will look to seize it, but my main goal is to make sure that I work on my form and take the next step to build my condition towards that goal.“
Nic Dlamini – Horseman
âI’m super excited to be returning to the Tour of Britain, it really is one of my favorite races as I won the King of the Mountains jersey in 2019. I am delighted to be returning with the team this year we have a strong squad with punchy drivers so I think it takes some good aggressive races. There is a pretty strong team overall with a few big names announced for the race but I think with the team we have this year, we should be able to achieve very good results.
I’m also nervous as I was out of competition for a few weeks so regaining the confidence to bump my shoulders in what I imagine could be tough conditions will be nerve-racking, but overall. I’m just excited to get back to racing.
Carlos barbero– Rider
I am very excited and looking forward to the Tour of Britain. It’s a very good race with big fans in which we will be looking for opportunities during the eight days of racing. There are long stages with a route that goes up and down all day long which surely presents a good show for everyone!
