Augusta University community encouraged to register for Paceline on October 16
The Augusta University community is encouraged to participate in this year’s Paceline Bike Ride on October 16.
The University of Augusta community is encouraged to participate in the Paceline bike ride on October 16.
Since 2019, the Paceline organization has been organizing this hike to engage the Augusta community in the fight to end cancer. As part of the event, runners are invited to raise funds for the Georgia Cancer Center, which supports both laboratory research and patient care for various forms of cancer.
The ride has dedicated traffic control measures and rest areas for refreshments along the way. Cyclists have the choice of three routes: 25 miles, 50 miles or 100 miles. The 50 and 100 mile walks start at the University of Augusta historic site Summerville Campus, while the 25-mile ride begins at Harlem High School. All three routes end at the Columbia County Amphitheater in Evans.
